Below are some FAQs and answers about the Boys & Girls Club of Tipton County. 

GENERAL QUESTIONS

To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
The Boys & Girls Club of Tipton County serves youth grades K-12.
The Club is open for the afterschool program Monday – Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. *Extended days offered during the afterschool program session run from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm. Summer Program hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
The Boys & Girls Club of Tipton County is a certified non-profit with a 501c3 status.
Contributions that are not restricted will typically go towards general operating costs including facility use, wages, and direct program expense.
Absolutely! For long-term volunteer commitments, training and background checks are required. If interested, contact us for more information.
Anything from: Offering a business tour, speaking toTeen members about after graduation opportunities, teaching a class or being a guest speaker, sponsoring a child for the summer, hosting a fundraiser, volunteering at The Club working with youth or in the office, etc.
The Club accepts card, check, and cash. We utilize the Square and have an online donor platform.

Membership QUESTIONS

The Club offers an annual membership that covers the afterschool program and the drop-in hours portion of the summer program.
Yes, membership is required to attend the summer and break day/extended day programs. The Club offers select days during school breaks where pre-registration and pre-payment are required. All summer day camp programming is also pre-register and pre-pay.
You can register for membership any time during the membership year utilizing the online registration link. After you are a registered member, you will receive communication from Club administration about the mandatory pre-registration for breaks and summer camp.
Annual membership runs from August to August each year, and can be taken care of using the online registration process.
Extended Hours: per Club Calendar 7:30a-5:30p $10/day/Member--$15/day/2Members--$20/day/3+Members *MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 35 MEMBERS TO OPEN. Summer Day Camp 2023: M-F 7:30a-5:30p $20/Day/Member $75/Wk/Member, $100/Wk/2 Members, $125/Wk/3+
Additional costs may be required for specialty or seasonal programs.
The Club is fortunate to have partnerships with Tipton Community Schools and Tri-Central Schools. Both county school districts offer bus transportation from school to the Club for the afterschool program. Club families are responsible for transportation home from the afterschool program. Club families are responsible for transportation to and from the extended break days and summer program.
Yes, a free snack option is available to all Club members. The Club also offers a paid snack option through the Club Canteen. Members have the option to select a free or paid snack.
